living the SWEET LIFE

I wanted to share with you all one of my favorite (more like the best) boutique around. Right downtown Olympia Washington sits the sweetest little store you'd ever indulge in. Complete with cake plates, porcelain puppies, and Delicious brands like Wildfox Couture, LNA, Free People, and Betsey Johnson(to name a few), this boutique is sure to give your bank account a major toothache. Owner Erin Gillet mixed her great fashion sense, creative talent, and LA swag together to create this fabulous shop that has really given the local fashionistas a store to love close to home. I've had the pleasure to job shadow miss Gillet and in the short amount of time that I worked with her, she taught me so much about the business I'm determined to make it in! I've watched this store grow from the beginning, and every time I visit it never disappoints. In fact, it just gets better and better!! So if you are in the area be sure to visit the Sweet Life to pick up some sweet treats of your own. You won't regret it!

  1. First off, I adore your blog! and your style is so chic but you still add your own unique twist to all your outfits!
I was really happy when I read this blog post because I, like you, absolutely adore the sweet life and all its fabulous fashions. I have always wanted to do some sort of job shadow/ internship type thing there and was so glad when I came across this blog post and saw that you used to job shadow there! I want to pick your brain about it if you don't mind:
How did you start your job shadow there? and what kind of things did you do while shadowing?
    Thanks so much,
    Jasmine.

    1. Well thank-you so much for your kind words! It's funny you comment on this right now, because I'm actually just starting a job there blogging and merchandising for them! Thank-you so much for your support, I really appreciate the love!

I mainly did the "job shadow" for high-school. It was at the old location, which is kind of fun because I've watched the store grow, but I was there to kind of pick her brain about becoming a fashion merchandiser/owner of my own boutique one day. It was fun, but it wasn't for very long. Sorry I'm not full of info :(

Anyway, thank-you for reading my blog, I appreciate all followers.

    2. Thanks so much for the speedy reply, and don't worry your answers were very helpful. Funny enough, I am actually still in high school and looking for someone to job shadow for my culminating senior project. I am looking to go into fashion merchandising, so I think I will drop on by there and see if I can possibly shadow there, really any excuse to go the sweet life... Any who good luck with the blogging and merchandising! judging by your blog, you'll do great and I look forward to reading more from you.
